How to control attrition

I am sure, our company can be a classic example of best measures taken to control attrition. If you think, its by giving best pay and amazing perks.... hold it. It's all in dreams only. Take a look at some of our policies...

  • If you leave company within 6 month of joining, you are suppose to pay Rs 1 lakh for the training provided to you during induction. So unless you are already rich... you can't quit.
  • You are compulsory to serve 90 days of notice period, which leaves you completely undesirable for any new company.
  • Annual bonus is due on last day, any day before that you put in your paper... well, say good bye to your bonus. No matter, bonus is suppose to be the reward for the previous year.
  • You are provided with educational assistance, obviously, with a bond.

I am sure, after the above amazing steps taken in company policy, it will become way too difficult for any average person to quit the company. Reason I am saying so.. well, from last 3 years, I am trying my best to do so and failing... :-(
