How to control attrition

I am sure, our company can be a classic example of best measures taken to control attrition. If you think, its by giving best pay and amazing perks.... hold it. It's all in dreams only. Take a look at some of our policies...

  • If you leave company within 6 month of joining, you are suppose to pay Rs 1 lakh for the training provided to you during induction. So unless you are already rich... you can't quit.
  • You are compulsory to serve 90 days of notice period, which leaves you completely undesirable for any new company.
  • Annual bonus is due on last day, any day before that you put in your paper... well, say good bye to your bonus. No matter, bonus is suppose to be the reward for the previous year.
  • You are provided with educational assistance, obviously, with a bond.

I am sure, after the above amazing steps taken in company policy, it will become way too difficult for any average person to quit the company. Reason I am saying so.. well, from last 3 years, I am trying my best to do so and failing... :-(

Forced bachelor for one month

Enjoying forced bachelorhood of one month. I am not sure, whether I should say 'enjoying' or painstaking. Normally I would have gotten up in morning with a hot cup of tea made by wifey... but things are different now.

Getting up way too early in morning, at the doorbell of maid...
Prepare tea for self :-(
Figuring out breakfast
No more lunch box to carry at office... eating the rotten pantry food
Come home and arrange for dinner
Washing clothes... sob! sob!

Wifey when are you coming back.......

Finally here I am

After years of thinking to start a blog, finally today's the day when I am actually writing my first blog post. If you wonder, this blog is by some teenager, you got it absolutely wrong. You can think of me, as some late starter on blogosphere.

I have been wandering on this planet for about 29 years, lost in the complexity of social relation, corporate structures and of course trying to figure out my one year old relationship with my better half.

Life seems to be running back to back thriller, adventure, suspsens shows in my life... this is going to be the place, where I write about it all....  as and when it happens.
